Emergency Preparedness for Child Care Providers

Emergencies or disasters can happen at any time. How prepared is your child care program to respond? Families trust child care providers for the safety and well-being of their children while they are in your care. During emergencies of all types and sizes, children rely on the adults caring for them.

Your ability to quickly respond and recover from emergencies such as fires, power outages and threats of violence depends on how prepared you are. Emergency preparedness training for child care providers is essential to ensuring the safety of children in your care.

CCRC offers a variety of emergency preparedness training for child care providers, including:

  • CA Preventive Health & Safety
  • Child Care Disaster Preparedness
  • Emergency Preparedness Hacks
  • Trauma Informed Care Training
