Giving Tuesday: Help CCRC make the season bright for families

Update September 30, 2024: CCRC now serving over 100,000 children, families, and child care providers.

The launch of the Giving Tuesday movement in 2012 came from the concept of radical giving, which is a belief that anyone’s suffering should be as intolerable as our own. On this Tuesday, we hope that you’ll consider donating to CCRC and the 75,000 children and families we serve.

In addition to our annual Holiday Book and Toy Drive, where we gift thousands of children and families with age-appropriate books and toys, CCRC also runs an Adopt a Family campaign. That operation enables us to provide a smaller group of families with even more targeted support. One father who was involved in our Adopt a Family campaign last year said the experience gave him hope.

“Right now, around this time, it’s very hard so any help I can get I look forward to,” said Christopher, a father of two. “My boys got a smile on their faces, it makes me happy because it’s kind of hard living in California, especially this time of year. So, we’re really grateful to have a place like this. I’m working every day, but it would’ve been a challenge.”

A single $35 donation supports one family. Donate more to see your dollar work even harder for local children. The number of children and families we serve grows year after year and we need all the help we can get to ensure a happy holiday for all.

Giving Tuesday takes place across six continents around the glove. Hundreds of thousands of leaders and millions of people work together to change, and in many cases, transform their communities for the better. Inspire others to donate too, when you share on social media why you donated to CCRC with the hashtag #GivingTuesday. Thank you for your support!
