The concept of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) aims to provide all children, including those who have not been formally diagnosed, with an equal opportunity to succeed by making learning inclusive.

In this training participants will:
– Be introduced to inclusive practices and will explore why UDL works in early childhood programs
– Learn how to create a flexible environment by identifying common modifications and supports that can be adjusted around each child’s strengths, needs, and interests
– Be familiar with the UDL checklist that will support them in identifying areas where they can create more meaningful and transformative learning opportunities

This training is in the Competency Area: Special Needs and Inclusion (SNI)
