Open Enrollment for Head Start’s 2019-2020 school year is available! You, or someone you know, may be eligible to enroll in Head Start a fun filled, fundamentally sound program that provides a comprehensive preschool environment for all learners.

The classes are developmentally appropriate for children 0-5 and provide school readiness experiences, that your child will carry for the rest of their lives. Head Start is designed to holistically cultivate your child beyond pure academics so he or she will be the best learners they can be.

Within Head Start you can choose from several programs based on your child and family needs:

Early Head Start Centerbase (Ages 0-3)

Early Head Start Homebase (Ages 0-3) & Services for Pregnant Women

  • Home based option features weekly visits with an educator and bi-monthly socials with other parents and children

Head Start Centerbase (Ages 3-5)

  • 3 ½ and 6 hours sessions available at select locations

Early Head Start Child Care Partnership (Ages 0-3 in Centerbase or 0-4 in Family Child Care Home)

  • Full day, full year high quality child care by well-trained providers

California State Preschool Program

  • 10 hour sessions available at select locations
