Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) happily celebrated their 4th annual Victorville Play Day, November 17, 2018. Thanks to charitable sponsors, enthusiastic volunteers and a dedicated staff, CCRC was able to support the health, early education, and well-being for over a thousand of local Inland Empire families.
The Victor Valley community enjoyed 40 booths that offered fun learning activities for both children and adults. Families reveled in the joy of the reptile exhibit, story time, art & science activities, and a special guest appearance from the “Grinch” himself!
CCRC is committed to providing children a bright start for underserved communities and firmly believes that a healthy child fosters a healthy community. That is why at every CCRC community event, each child receives a free age appropriate book, and each family leaves with a lunch bag of free fruits and vegetables. This year at Victorville Play Day over a thousand kids received a free book, and over 5,000 pieces of fruits and vegetables were handed out.
CCRC continues to promote child and family well-being. The health and nutrition of a child is just as important as the access and use of educational materials.
