Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill shares the same mission as the Child Care Resource Center (CCRC): to end hunger among our nation’s children. That’s why Sharky’s set a goal to raise $10,000 in support of No Kid Hungry during a two-month promotion at its 26 restaurants in Southern California and Oregon.
In partnership with Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, Sharky’s will donate $1.00 to No Kid Hungry for each Wild Alaska Salmon menu item purchased between February 16 and April 13, 2017— and raise additional funds for No Kid Hungry at its upcoming restaurant openings.
No Kid Hungry connects vulnerable children with effective nutrition programs by creating public-private partnerships that work together to break down barriers to meal access.
With generous supporters like Sharky’s, No Kid Hungry, CCRC and other non-profit organizations are helping end childhood hunger every day by making sure families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget.
