Healthy Food, Healthy Children

Child care providers are invited to sign up for our Healthy Food, Healthy Children training where we will:

• Discuss the Healthy Beverages in Child Care Act, Licensing Regulations, and best practices for serving healthy food options in Licensed Child Care facilities.
• Discover resources and guides to serving foods that contribute to children’s health, growth, and development.
• Develop a Wellness Policy that addresses their facility’s nutritional and physical activity goals.

This training fulfills 2 hours in the competency area: Health, Safety, and Nutrition (HSN)
