The holidays are here and the temperature is falling! Although it isn’t below zero, now is a great time to do a Frozen activity! Inspired by the Disney movie Frozen, we bring you Erupting Snow with the help of Paging Fun Mums! This activity is easy to recreate, and a sure favorite for your littles.
What you will need?
- 1 x 500g bag of bicarbonate soda
- 1 x can of shaving cream/foam
- Blue glitter
- Vinegar
Step 1
Pour your bicarbonate soda into a large mixing bowl
Step 2
Add ¾ the can of shaving cream. Add more to attain a consistency of your liking.
Step 3
Add as much glitter as you like. The picture displays about 2 tablespoons.
Step 4
Now give your mixture a good stir.
Your mixture will look like this. Isn’t is awesome?
Due to the shaving cream, the ‘snow’ even feels cold! This is fun just to play with on its own too!
Now the real fun begins!
Step 6
You just need to pour the vinegar over your snow and watch the magic happen…
By now your mixture should be erupting! The bubbles and consistency are sure to win your children over. It’s so easy to do over and over again too! It’s also great fun to play with the foamy remnants!
