CCRC will host eight different events, each with its own sponsorship opportunities, at its four locations in 2017. By choosing to become a sponsor, you’ll be supporting activities that benefit the lives of children and families in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys, and San Bernardino County.
Activities supported may include CPR training, age-appropriate books and literary events, infant/toddler educational kits, and child safety materials.

Policy Forum: The Road Ahead

We will gather with parents, early childhood experts and advocates, business and political leaders, and community members to discuss opportunities and challenges facing children and families.
San Bernardino Play Day
(San Bernardino, April)
CCRC’s 4th Annual Family Play Day in San Bernardino features story time, art and science activities, musical performances, and a petting zoo.

Annabelle Godwin Play Day
(San Fernando Valley, May)
The 21st Annual Annabelle Godwin Play Day is a time for parents learn through play with their children.
Your sponsorship will help provide fruits and vegetables and books for the families in San Fernando Valley.
Laughs4Literacy
(Lancaster, June)
For a second year at Lucky Luke’s Brewing. Co, a night of fun and fundraising is set to take over Lancaster, CA.
Your sponsorship will be used to place books directly into the hands of more young children in the Antelope Valley.
Laps4Literacy Glow/Run
(Antelope Valley, October)
The 8th Annual Laps4Literacy event will offer families a Glow Walk/Run, children’s costume contest, along with the distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables, and a free book for every child in attendance.
Your sponsorship will help this event continue to have a positive impact on the Antelope Valley community.
Winter Toy and Book Drive
(All locations, October-December)
Over the past few years, CCRC distributed over 20,000 age appropriate toys and 10,000 books to families in our community. We encourage you to help collect toys and books and make a donation at this time of year that brings joy and happiness to all families.
Victorville Play Day

CCRC’s 3rd Annual Family Play Day in Victorville will provide hands-on activities for children of every age.

CCRC believes that every child deserves the chance to own a book. Since 2009, CCRC has collected and distributed close to 600,000 books, but we still need your help to continue this critically needed campaign.
