High Quality Learning Environments and Curriculum in Family Child Care Programs

This training will support family child care providers in creating curricula and environments that maximize learning opportunities for children.

Through interactive activities, participants will:

• Learn and practice the basics of curriculum development and lesson planning
• Identify features of an environment that help children feel secure, welcome, and ready to learn
• Have a deeper understanding of how to maintain a developmentally appropriate learning environment
