Strengthening Families: Social and Emotional Competence in Children

Social and Emotional Competence in Children is a key factor of the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework.

Participants will learn how to support adults as they foster children’s emotional development, including guiding children through regulating their emotions. This training will also cover the importance of clear communication and maintaining healthy relationships.

This training fulfills 2 hours in the competency area: Family and Community Engagement (FCE).
