GOALS: CECA
Culture, Education, Community and Accountability
 Goal 3: Community
To encourage employees to engage in DEI conversations and spaces for employees to connect, while also establishing external opportunities to engage in DEI work with the families and children we serve.
Strategies
a. ExpandtheAnti-RacistTaskforceby5-10newmembers.
b. Create a DEI webpage on our external website.
c. Developadditionalprogramming(i.e.networkingevents,lectureseries,trainingsessions)for historically marginalized groups and their allies.
d. Create DEI key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with performance management systems and institute an internal award recognizing excellence in DEI, which will hold us accountable for operationalizing equity-minded work.
e. ExpandDEIeffortsexernallytothefamiliesandchildrenweserve.Workwithkeyleadersto identify programs and initiatives to launch.
Goal 4: Accountability
To establish clear timelines and be consistent with our DEI messaging to stay accountable and consistent with our desired outcomes by strengthening our internal policies, practices and procedures.
Strategies
a. Develop excellent data standards (e.g., DEI Data Dashboard) to measure longitudinal progress in DEI efforts including but not limited to employee demographics and hiring and promotional practices.
b. Develop and review inclusion survey to routinely assess our agency’s workplace culture.
c. Create an infrastructure to provide strategic oversight and highlight the importance of our
DEI goals through our communication channels.
d. Seek external grant funding for DEI work and educate staff on how to apply for grants with a DEI lens. In addition, apply to external DEI awards.
e. Collaborate with CCRC Board members to establish DEI practices and procedures amongst the board.
