Phase 1:
Assess CCRC Climate
• President & CEO created the Anti- Racist Taskforce (ARTF)
• Taskforce conducted racial climate survey and hosted programs and events
• Began hiring for a Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
2022
Phase 2:
Identify Goals & Develop Plan
• Hired DEI Director and hired two DEI Specialists for the Division
• Conducted meetings with staff, reviewed survey data, and data from the HR team
• Completed Strategic Plan
• Welcomed new ARTF members and retained previous members (currently 20 active members)
• Create DEI external and internal webpages
2023
Phase 3:
Share Plan & Begin Implementation
• Create DEI plan for each Division
• Launch Employee Networks (e.g. Black Employee Network, Pride Network, Working Parent & Caregiver Network, etc.)
• Integrate DEI Strategic Plan presentations at leadership, division and board meetings
• Design and launch yearly inclusion survey
• Establish data dashboard
• Launch DEI Certificate
2024 - 2025
Phase 4:
Continue Implementation & Reassess
• Revisit agencywide plan
• Hire additional DEI staff,
including agency translator
• Advance metrics • Prioritize
strategies
• Achieve local recognition for DEI efforts
• Apply for DEI grants to fund external DEI projects
• Identify all strengths and weaknesses per Division
