                        Resource & Referral
Educating the Community
The Resource and Referral (R&R) Department offers early childhood education to families, supports child care providers, and informs the community about the importance of child care. Our professional staff advise parents on how to find a quality child care environment as well as provide free referrals to child care programs that match the needs of the family. R&R supports potential and existing child care professionals and their programs through technical support, business strategies and quality improvement training. In the community, we interact with local chambers of commerce, funders, schools, and policy makers regarding child care trends, child advocacy, child safety, and the importance of child care to the economy.
