The Creating a Community of Resiliency evaluation was conducted in 2013 by the Child Care Resource Center (CCRC), a member of the Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles (CCALA). The program and evaluation were funded by a contract with the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health (LACDPH) under the direction of Aizita Magaña, Staff Analyst at the Emergency Response and Preparedness Program. This report was prepared by Susan Savage with contributions from Olivia Pillado, Cyndi Trujillo, and Glenda Delgado (all affiliated with CCRC) and Aizita Magaña (LACDPH). We are grateful to Elizabeth Melendrez for her commitment to developing the toolkit and conducting trainings of providers as well as coordinating the collaborations with the Los Angeles County Resource and Referral agencies.
