As seen in Table 5, the greatest areas of need, based on the lowest percentage of participants who indicated they were able to perform each task are the same as last year’s:
o Saving a file to a specific location
o Creating a copy of a file
o Locating and opening a saved file
o Inserting and ejecting removable storage
o Starting and exiting a computer program (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Given the low percentage of participants (22%) who indicated having activated their Early Care and Education Workforce Registry account via e-mail, technology training centered on the ECE Workforce Registry was recommended. See Question 18 in Table 5.
