Figure 29: Sepulveda: What did you like BEST about the Head Start program?
 What I like the best was how the teachers get so involved in the education of my child by making every effort for him to learn and understand everything that is being taught to him. Also, all the staff is very helpful and friendly.
 What I like the best of Head Start is the communication that I have with the teachers and administration.
 The program philosophy and the kindness of the teachers and staff.
 Well, just the fact that mostly all the parents interacted with each other and participated in the
parent meetings. And how the teachers are so nice and patient.
 The teachers and the clean rooms for the kids and teacher's involvement with child's education.
 The teachers at Head Start and staff are the best. They help you in any question we may have.
Very professions.
 The children got to learn to play with peers and learn to share. I'm grateful for all the staff and
their training and open communication.
 That they are always attentive of the children.
 The interactions between staff and parents were very helpful and pleasant. A very good
experience. CCRC Head Start is the best. Thanks so much.
 The support that brings out the self-esteem in the little ones that helps them feel more
independent.
 Various things: The organization, the healthy food you give, the staff is very good and know how
to treat the students and parents.
 The kid learns how to interact and socialize with other people and not depend on the parents.
 I like everything but there are 2 things that I like much more: the workshops for parents like the
mental health classes and the nutrition classes. Both have helped me and my daughter very much.
 The patience of teachers with their students. They treat them as if they were their children. That's
what I like. And my son's happiness to go to school.
 The meetings because you talk about everything that happens in child care and education.
 That you have friendly teachers that are patient with the children and communicate all the
progress of the children.
 How they treat you and the importance that they give to the children. How they treat the children
and the attention they give them.
 That my daughter became more independent, that she speaks more English, and this is the result
of the successful work of her teachers at Head Start.
 I want my daughter learn to be good and be friendly with new friends.
 My daughter likes to paint and write numbers.
 That it's a great program and the teachers were very helpful and taught my son a lot.
 My daughter reached developmental goals successfully thanks to the teachers. My daughter also
has more confidence and is always eager to learn and go to school.
 The curriculum and philosophy of the program. Also how cordial and comprehensive teachers
and staff is.
 The environment and the way teachers treat children.
 The attention from all the staff. They were always supportive with my questions and needs.
Thank you
 My daughter learned how to recognize letters and numbers.
 I liked that they taught my child how to react in case of an emergency and that she learned how to
socialize with other children.
 I like that my child learned a lot from the excellent teachers he had. Cathy and Lupe thank you.
 Parent workshops.
