Event Date: Saturday, June 20, 2020
Event Hours: 09:00am - 12:00pm
The CCRC Family Well Being Division invites you to participate in our Trauma Informed Care provider trainings. In these trainings, you will have the opportunity to learn how trauma affects a child cognitively and emotionally. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to support children and families who have had traumatic experiences.
In Module 5: Strengthening Families (FCE), this training builds on the concept of trauma-informed care by helping providers understand the risks, and protective factors related to service a Bridge child. Specific strategies for strengthening families are provided, offering more ways to engage the families of children in your care.
