Get Ready to Dance and Sing to Juanito!

Welcome to today’s Head Start at Home activity! Teacher Priscilla and Teacher Evelyn are leading us in six easy spring yoga poses for today’s session. Hold each position for five seconds and each set should be repeated three times. 1) The Sun: Arms go above your head and form a circle. 2) The Tree: Bring your hands together, in front of your chin, and raise one leg up and place your foot next to your knee. 3) The Bird: Arms should go out to the side and, while maintaining your balance, raise one leg up behind you. 4) The Rain: Spread your feet apart and bend over to touch the floor with your hands. 5) The Seed: Get into a squat position and place your hands together in front of your chin. 6) The Butterfly: Sit on the floor and place your feet together to create a triangle. Arms should be extended in front of you aligned with your shoulders with the index and thumb fingers together in the air. Namaste, and continue to stay active! Until next time.
