Always ready to lend a hand, our volunteers helped out with hair and face painting and the obstacle course. They also volunteered in the infant play area, and handed out fresh fruits and vegetables at the farmer’s market.
Again, thank you to our volunteers from Quartz Hill High School, Lancaster Queens, Palmdale Queens and Rancho Vista Queens and all the individual volunteers who took the time to support CCRC.
Laps4Literacy promotes the importance of literacy in conjunction with CCRC’s campaign, “What a Difference a BOOK Makes.” Every child that attended this event also took home an age-appropriate book.
This community family play day event followed by a glow walk/run is the biggest free community event in Antelope Valley.
