Provider Trainings
As part of our commitment to strengthening children, families and the community, we assist child care providers with the training they need to offer high quality child care. Providers can take advantage of free trainings available through the California Early Care and Education Workforce Registry.
Designed to deepen professional knowledge and strengthen child care programs, all trainings are free unless otherwise noted and workshops feature a variety of topics taught by leading Early Childhood Education (ECE) professionals.
Child care providers of any license type are invited to register for the trainings that include:
• Intro to the CA ECE Workforce Registry
• ECE Competencies: Strengthening the Knowledge and Skills of Early Childhood Professionals • Supporting Dual Language Learners
• Cultivating Leaders in Early Childhood Staff
• Enhancing Learning Environments using the Environmental Rating Scales
• Creating Effective Business Habits
• Special Needs & Inclusion
• The Child Care Initiative Project Orientation Session
• Family Child Care Home Business Aspects: Planning, Finances, & Legal Aspects
• CA Preventive Health and Safety
• Health and Safety During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Providers who aren’t already registered are encouraged to join the registry today and utilize its many features: tracking and expanding professional development as an Early Childhood Educator, information about professional development opportunities through the training calendar, a training and coursework management system that enables reports to be pulled and shared with employers, and a resume builder that pulls information from your professional profile in an easy-to- use format.
To register:
1. Visit www.caregistry.org
2. Login to your profile or create a profile
3. Click on Training Calendar and search by Sponsor Name (Keyword: Child Care Resource Center) 4. Select training and click on View Event Details
5. Click on Enroll Now
