Grant Writing 101
If you are interested in applying for grants but you’re not sure where to start, this training is for you! At this introductory level workshop you will learn how to clearly communicate your program needs, avoid common grant writing mistakes and how to find funders that match your organization and mission.
Strategies to Support Children with Autism
In this intermediate level training, you will learn a variety of approaches to address behavioral, communication and social issues. We’ll review a comprehensive model of treatment services for children with Autism, the social emotional milestones that form the foundation for social and communication skills, and how to manage the anxiety and challenging behaviors that children with Autism display.
Effective Observations of Infants/Toddlers
During this interactive workshop, you will learn how to make objective observations of children birth to 3 years of age, the various ways to document these observations, and how to use this information to enhance the parent-child relationship.
Available funding for CPR & First Aid Trainings The California Department of Education’s Child Development Division has granted CCRC with funds to
assist child care providers with the cost of CPR/First Aid trainings.
These funds are limited and available for trainings completed during the period of July 1, 2013 to
June 30, 2014. Licensed center-based staff, licensed family child care providers, and licensed-exempt child care providers (in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys) are eligible for reimbursement.
