Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN)
FCCHEN, funded by the California Department of Education (CDE), provides a quality child care experience in a home-based environment Child care providers participating in this program are required to attend training to support ongoing professional development and receive assessments of both their child care environment and developmental progress of children in their care
Home Visitation
CCRC’s Home Visitation program is a First 5 LA funded initiative
in Los Angeles County To participate, families must live within
the Best Start community boundaries of Pacoima, Panorama City, Palmdale and Lancaster The program utilizes Parents as Teachers curriculum to provide the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children achieve optimal development duringthecrucialearlyyearsoflife Eachenrolledfamilyreceives at least two home visits each month for up to five years from a certified parent educator

Gateways for Early Educators
Funded by First 5 LA and administered by Los Angeles Universal Preschool, the Gateways program improves outcomes for children by enhancing the early education workforce Gateways coaches encourage, mentor, and support child care providers to improve the level of quality in their child care environments
