Technology & Innovation
The ultimate objective of the Information Technology team is to provide proactive services to the 700+ CCRC staff members and customers in 30+ geographically separated, yet integrated locations. Services include secure remote operations for home visiting professionals, improved forms automation for both internal staff and members of our communities, improved telecommunications capabilities allowing for anytime, anywhere contact between families, schools, and case managers.
The IT support team consists of:
▶ Technology help desk technicians ▶ System administrators
▶ Expert system engineers
Efforts focused on improving core capabilities to include: ▶ Network and server performance
▶ Increased storage performance and capacity
▶ Disaster recovery/business continuity
A 5-year roadmap is in development outlining overall system architecture with focus on: ▶ Improved responsiveness
▶ Standardization
▶ Reduced cost of ownership
Other improvements:
▶ Virtual desktop infrastructure to reduce operational costs and more responsive.
▶ Hybrid solution of on-premise and cloud-based technologies to be proactive and responsive while
ensuring compliance with information security protocols mandated compliance areas.
The Information Technology team works closely with all departments to provide technology improvements aligning their current and projected business needs to fiscal constraints.
