When asked what participants plan on doing in their child care program as a result of what they learned in the workshop, 189 participants provided 297 comments. As indicated in Table 13, the largest percentage of participants indicated that they would ensu re they have the appropriate and right amount of supplies needed for their program (23.9%). Early care and education providers also indicated that they would connect with members of the community to let them know that the child care program is in the community or to use available resources in the community (19.9%). Some (19.9%) providers reported that they will maintain updated information for the children in their care. This includes updating parent contact information and keeping information about each child current, such as updating pictures, allergy information etc. Others indicated that they will start having practice drills or have more of them (11.1%), will maintain a disaster or reunification plan (11.1%), and will share information with families of the children they serve (7.0%). Other participants provided general comments, such as making an effort to be more prepared (7.0%).
