CCRC invites early learning providers to learn more about how Quality Start Los Angeles can provide the support needed to elevate the quality of their programs.
   What is
Quality Start
Los Angeles?
Quality Start Los Angeles (QSLA) is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) designed to help families understand what a quality early learning program looks like.
QSLA also promotes the importance of quality and early learning support centers and family child care providers with ongoing quality improvement goals to ensure that children across LA County have the strongest start in school and in life.
Benefits of participating in Quality Start Los Angeles:
As part of QSLA, you are eligible for incentives that reward and help sustain your quality improvement efforts.
Your program will also receive one-on-one monthly support tailored to the unique needs of your center or family child care home that will help you elevate the quality of your program. By taking a strengths-based approach, QSLA supports you as you build upon your successes for sustained, continuous program development.
QSLA provides many opportunities to give your teachers the high quality professional development they value which leads to greater retention and a well-trained workforce.
Your parents will also have access to high quality, interactive, parent education opportunities around LA County focused on key topics that parents want to know most about.
Being assessed as part of QSLA gives you a clear picture of your program’s quality and helps define a path to get your program where you want it to be.
