CCRC is recognized as one
of the largest non-profits in California leading the way
in advocacy, research and communications. The majority
of our digital content is - and
will be - dedicated to sharing information of services and resources available to children, families, and child care providers.
Our goal is to inform, educate and engage. By sharing events, our work with legislators, or the accolades and achievements of our own staff, we are strengthening the depth and intent of CCRC’s efforts to cultivate child, family and community well-being.

In 2018, we helped bridge the school winter break food gap for families. Our annual Poker Event supported the Hunger Free Holiday campaign and we distributed over 10,000 food items. Our annual Holiday Book and Toy Drive continued to distribute 5,000 new books and 5,000 toys to children.
MISSION
Founded in response to America’s healthcare crisis, Fit 4 The Cause® offers its own preventative solution by providing licensed fitness professionals and nutrition educators to thousands of low-income beneficiaries who would not otherwise have access to these services. We serve at-risk teens, fragile seniors and vulnerable children, many with special needs, at no cost to these service recipients. Tracking the progress of the individuals who participate in our diverse fitness and nutrition programs, we find consistent improvements in their health and the overall quality of their lives. Fit 4 The Cause® believes that EVERYONE, regardless of financial circumstance or physical or emotional condition, is entitled to quality fitness and nutrition instruction, so EVERYONE can enjoy a longer, healthier and happier life.

A participant mentioned that the day she walked to the group connection, the wheel of her baby’s stroller broke and she was not able to fix it or replace the stroller. When she received the stroller donation from CCRC, she was very grateful. She said that it is going to help her when she needs to walk places because she won’t have to carry the baby in her arms.
