Identifying & Supporting Children with Prenatal Alcohol Exposure - We will explore misconceptions about alcohol use during pregnancy. Screening and assessment for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and how alcohol use affects children’s learning and behaviors.

Learn About Ages & Stages Developmental Screening (ASQ-3) - Come learn step-by step instructions to screen the children in your program!
At this introductory-level training, you will learn how to:
• Screen children to identify those in need of additional support • Help parents understand their child’s development
• Talk to parents about screening results
• Make referrals to community resources
Ages & Stages Questionnaires: Social-Emotional (ASQ:SE) Prerequisite: It is recommended that you have PEDS or ASQ training.
Do you already screen the children in your program using a tool such as the Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) or Parents’ Evaluation of Developmental Status (PEDS)?
Learn how to ASQ:SE screening tool can be used to complement developmental screening measures to identify social & emotional concerns:
• Identify the warning signs of young children at risk for social and emotional difficulties • Help parents understand the social and emotional development of their child
• Engage parents in screening their young children for social and emotional competence
Child Care Health & Safety – CCRC’s health & safety classes are EMSA approved and meet Child Care Licensing Regulations. Instructors are professionals in the child development field and are familiar with licensing regulations.
