Community Overview
At 20,000 square miles, San Bernardino County is the largest county in California and contains the fifth largest population in the state. Our Mill Street office location houses the agency’s core programs that are designed to best serve the children, families, and early childhood professionals in the local community. Because of the expanse of this service area, we have implemented programs dedicated to reaching child care providers near and far including online training, long distance coaching, and events across the county.
This year, we processed 5,894 child care referral requests and attended 28 community outreach events throughout the county where we served more than 11,000 children, parents, providers, and local partners across all programs.
