FAMILY CHILD CARE HOME
The smoking of tobacco in a private residence that is licensed as a family day care home shall be prohibited in the home and in those areas of the family day care home where children are present.
Section 1596.795 of the California Health and Safety Code
                  Assembly Bill (AB) 2386: Care Facilities: Carbon Monoxide Detectors
AB 2386 requires community care facilities and child care facilities to have one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors that meet specified statutory requirements in the facility and required department to account for the presence of the detectors during inspections.
