Goal 1: Improve the emergency preparedness and response capabilities of R&R agencies and early care and education providers throughout Los Angeles County.d
Objective 1: Assess the Child Care Emergency Preparedness and Response Toolkit and Training Curriculum.
Objective 2: Strengthen and improve utilization, perceived benefit, and understanding of the content of the revised Emergency Preparedness and Response Curriculum and Toolkit.
Objective 3: Strengthen R&R agencies’ leadership, engagement, and participation in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery issues and related activities.

Assess current level of perceived risk, need, and overall preparedness and response readiness of R&Rs and the range of early care and education provider types and settings through focus groups (Objective 2)
Increase the utilization, perceived benefit, and understanding of the content within the Emergency Preparedness and Response Toolkit through trainings for the Resource and Referral Agency Specialists (train-the-trainer) and early care and education provider trainings (Objective 4)
